BHS Approved

We’ve long prided ourselves on the standards we adhere to and that is validated by our Highly Commended affiliation with the BHS, British Horse Society.

What does BHS Approved mean?

The British Horse Society inspects all of their 800 yards to make sure they maintain a high level of approved standards set.  This focuses on safety, horses welfare and the tuition given.

There are three levels of grading: Approved (A), Commended (C) and Highly Commended (HC).  As a Training Centre we undergo additional tests to make sure that all of our instructors and training is of the highest standards.

Safety is key

All BHS Approved yards have to carry full public liability insurance and comply with the latest health and safety legislation.

Who are the BHS?

The BHS are a registered charity, whose main aim is to improve the lives of horses.  A world where every horse is properly protected and cared for.
